Below are a couple looks inside the basemment where Arthur Leigh Allen lived. Maybe he wasn't Zodiac, but he was definitely a strange guy.

Spot anything unusual?

Well now here is a challenge...

We have your obligatory stethoscope and sphygmometer along with a powder-headed ALA.

Not quite a crew-cut wig but what is up with this ALA? And why the hell was Tom lurking around ALA's basement's taking pictures like this?

Explain, please, Tom. Is this ALA contemplating his future in the catacombs of his Vallejo basement? What year is the photo?

Great new photos...

Yes, he has hair, and he must've had a web cam, because he's watching himself on the monitor!--That's the largest toaster I've ever seen. And he was a book collector!--That's also the largest pencil sharpener container I've ever seen. He has handi-wipes on the pole, and tell me that's not an enema contraption by his monitor!---The only thing missing is a satellite dish!

For a minute there I thought I saw an overhead projector, but looking closer I think it's just an NCR printer sitting directly behind a desk lamp base.

That's an army fatigue cap at bottom right, and a fish net hanging on the book case. Also a pennant, plaques, and trophies hanging from the wall. and multi radios.

Is that a HAMM radio on the middle left of the photo?

OK, Sleuths, if they're in a basement, why would there be curtains over the WINDOWS??!!

It was a split-level home, but apparently Allen referred to the lower area as the basement.

Not all basements are fully underground. The one in my grandparents' home in the San Fernando Valley wasn't.

We had no basement at Lamont Court either. I think this is typical of CA homes.

Art looks like General Norman Schwartzkopf at his command center in that pic!

Dude in the reflection looks more like Paul Stine. ALA is probably driving a cab around San Fran Bay Area right now. And, why's the shirt half white, half black? He looks like a Killer Whale.

I think it is the shadow of the picture taker that plays across ALA's shirt and the table in the foreground thereby making the "killer whale" effect.

Also, does anyone know what the items are on the shelves to the right. They look like glass jars of some sort (they actually resemble huge hummingbird feeders!)? I have zoomed the photo but the quality doesn't permit a good look.
