I thought it was interesting that his late-ex-wife is listed as a character in the IMDB credits, but he is not. I wonder if the story is leaning more heavily on people who have passed away so they can have more freedom? It would certainly avoid those pesky "liable" concerns.

Interesting characterization given that articles at the time quote Harden as saying they solved it after "about 20 hours of working on it off and on."

David I think that is certainly the reason. Standard operating procedure for a line producer (budgeting manager) is to use the name of a dead person since they or their heirs likely don't want anything for the use of the name.

It's not really sinister.
