"Ich habe in mein hosen geschissen!" From the very forgettable movie "Stalingrad," which was supposed to remind us (as if we didn't know already) about the horrors of war. My daughter and I, who both have some knowledge of German, were watching it without the subtitles, but this was the only line in the entire production that we both immediately understood. It turned a bad propaganda movie into a nice, but short-lived and memorable comedy!

In one of the Eastwood movies, Clint is on vacation and witnesses a robbery. He commandeers a senior citizen bus and forces the robber to crash his motor bike. Clint grabs him by the collar, sticks that big 44 in his face and says "Would you like me to read you your rights?"

Your right Johno, my bad. I've been working 10 hours a day, 7 days a week, Ive been a little tired and brain dead lately. So, when are you gonna come up with an intelligent thought on the message board instead of being the in-house spell checker?

I'll come up with that intelligent thought as soon as I can Hawk but lately I've been busy 10 hours a day, 7 days a week correcting spelling errors.

In "Hombre", a bandito has a shotgun trained on Paul Newman. As Paul is getting ready to draw he says "remember, if it's a tie, you're dead."

In the final scene, as the Mexican and Newman are dying, he says "wait, I've got to know your name."--Reminds me of the scene in one Dirty Harry movie at the bank robbery on Montgomery St. where the perp says " wait, I got's ta know".

BTW, I have seen every Clint Eastwood movie and most of the TV appearances.

I've seen Clint Eastwood himself a couple of times. It's like being near a deity. I humble in his presence.
