While rereading my copy of "The Encyclopedia of Unsolved Crimes' by Michael Newton, he mentions some cases that had been solved recently and had been dropped from the book. I recognized or found info on all but one of the cases mentioned. The one I haven't been able to turn up info on is the one that took place in Porterville, Ca. in 1991. There were a series of hit and run murders that killed two female joggers and a male bicyclist. The book came out in 2002, so the case would have solved shortly before then. Does anyone recognize this series of murders? Know anything about them? Can point me at info somewhere? | ||
