His arrest was lawful. The prosecution lost the evidence (the computer). Therefore they had to let him go.

Karr could consider a career change and run for congress.

Yeah, Johno, Karr could run for Congress. I hear there's an opening for Republican Congressman Mark Foleys' now open seat- NOT!

ET--LOL.

How about conspiracy to defraud the American taxpayers of their money, and then not having to pay it back!

Thanks for the great link, Dave. As the Sonoma Sherriff says,

"But with the current evidence standards and legal technicalities related to the statute of limitations, I understand and accept the D.A.'s conclusions [to drop all charges]. Once again, we do acknowledge that there were some performance issues five years ago when we worked this case."

"Legal technicalities" my ass! (Can I say 'ass'?). They LOST ALL THE EVIDENCE! How 'technical' is that?? Good thing it wasn't something BLATANT, like for instance if he couldn't find his own rear-end! LOL

And now Karr has moved into his parents house in Atlanta Georgia. Three blocks from a schoolyard.

We haven't heard the last from this guy.

Warren, your comment isn't that far-fetched. Just look at the attention MSNBC gave to that female child molester. She practically had her own show.

I hate to be the one to say : I told you so. But I had to go by my gut feelings, which was he lied about everything. The tapes were for shock value, to a woman he believed was a perv.He told her what he thought she wanted to hear, very sick things that a normal person wouldn't think of.I would be more worried about young boys than girls. He after all wants to become a female to attract males.Did anyone see him on Larry king live ? Worst show ever ! He couldn't tell Larry anything ,because his attorney said not to.All he did say over and over again, was he loved the USA because its laws protected him.

I saw that, too, Sandy... I was actually a little disgusted that Larry even invited him on to the show. You could tell he just wanted his 15 minutes of fame.

There are 29 pages of info about Karr that have been released by Sonoma County. I couldn't download it.

Interesting stuff, Dave. There was only one passage, however, that really caught my eye: Karr's first wife, when initially interviewed by the authorites, claimed that during the time she was married to Karr she would find women's purses, complete with billfolds and grocery receipts, and "lots and lots" of women's shoes in their house.

What this means, evidently, is that Karr was a successful house burglar who had the skill and the audacity to break into people's homes while they were still there. How many pedos have skills like that?

This Saturday nite, 48 Hours Mystery on CBS will have a new show on the Ramseys's and Karr. There will be some new interviews with the people involved in the investigation and a something about how they tracked down Karr in Sinapore.

Maybe the purses and shoes belonged to John ? I'll bet he dressed in female clothes. He wanted to become a woman, I would like to know just what size those shoes were. Why wouldn't the wife ask him where these shoes and purses came from ? Strange people indeed.

This is a way funny graphic of John Mark Karr on his flight home. Courtesy of D.A. Mary Lacy. From the pages of the new MAD Magazine. (I hope you can read the smaller print).

To blow up the above graphic, you can drag "File" at the top of this page to "Print Preview", then increase the percentage at the top of that page to "100%" or larger.

Hope it helps. It's worth it.
